It's true what they say... "Wherever you are, there you are!"
But if you don't know where you've been, how can you know where you're going?

| Ghoulies, Ghosties and Goblins |
Songs and stories from among the most imaginative flights of mankind's fancy, including Irish, English, Scottish and American repertoire |
| Paddy in Amerikay |
Since their arrival in the early days of the New World, the Irish have profoundly impacted life in America. They have left their history in the body of songs and stories they brought with them or have produced since their arrival. By the miracle of superior transmogrification, the Bodhran Brothers bring the past to life, and allow the spirits of a bygone age to mystically traverse their temporal constraints and elevate the consciousness of all who care to be so entranced. Through these songs and stories, hear how the Irish overcame prejudice, deceit and disadvantage to take their place in society, and play their part in building this great nation. |
| On the Shores of the Great Lakes |
Waterways have always been fertile ground (so to speak) for folk culture. The Great Lakes region, with its rivers, canals and of course a few wee lakes has produced its fair share of songs and stories worthy of performance. Join the Bodhran Brothers as we explore the history of marine transportation, the building of the region's canals, and the lore of the Ohio River through tales and tunes that remind us of our heritage, and the hard and sometimes dangerous work that our ancestors did to ensure the future for posterity. |
